Greg Smith has over 25 years of work experience in sales and marketing management. Greg began their career in 1992 as the Product Manager for Music Technology at The Woodwind and Brasswind, where they established a new division and generated $4 million dollars in annual sales. In 1996, they moved to Lentine's Music as the Sales & Marketing Director for the Music Technology Division, where they led the development and implementation of strategic plans with more than $5M in annual revenue. In 2003, Smith joined Sibelius Software as the Central Region Sales Manager, providing sales to customers and dealers in the Midwest territory. In 2007, they moved to Hal Leonard Corporation as the Sales and Marketing Manager for Music Technology, where they opened new customer channels and served as a key account manager for high revenue music technology dealers. In 2009, Smith began working as a Music Technology Consultant for Creative Music Consulting, providing consulting services to assist in the development and execution of strategic marketing plans and product development. Greg also began working as the Senior Director of Sales and Business Development for GoSignMeUp, the leading provider of online class registration and professional development management software.
Greg Smith obtained their M.S. in Music Education from the University of South Carolina between 1986 and 1988. Prior to that, they obtained their B.S. in Music Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 1978 and 1982.
