Iris Gil

Iris Gil is an experienced professional in translational medicine operations, currently serving as Director at Gossamer Bio since November 2020. Prior to this role, Iris held positions at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson focusing on biomarkers operations in neuroscience from January 2016 to November 2020, and worked at Merck as a Clinical Biomarker Specimen Management Scientist from October 2014 to December 2015. Previous experience includes multiple roles at Roche from November 2006 to October 2012, encompassing biosample operations management, reconciliation, and clinical sample handling. Iris holds a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) from the University of New England, a project management biotechnology toolkit certification from UC San Diego Extended Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from The University of Arizona Global Campus, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Montclair State University.
