Tim McLaughlin has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Tim is currently serving as the CEO of GoTab, an innovative e-commerce company with a focus on payments, catalogs, commerce, and fulfillment. Prior to this, they co-founded Shift7 Digital in 2002 and held the roles of CTO and CEO, leading the company in selling managed websites to midsize companies. Tim was also a founding partner of Caboose Brewing Company, where they played a key role in establishing two high-volume restaurant/brewery locations in Northern Virginia. Additionally, Tim founded Iteration Zero and developed the Axiom Content Management System, which became the core technology for Siteworx. Tim began their career at BCS Technologies as the CTO, where they managed a growing technical team and worked on projects for a high-volume email/eCommerce company. Tim started their professional journey at Lockheed Martin as a software engineer.

Tim McLaughlin obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University. Tim attended the university from 1994 to 1999. In addition, they also pursued studies in Artificial Intelligence at The University of Edinburgh from 1997 to 1998, although they did not specify any specific degree attained during this period.
