Sony Joseph

Sony Joseph has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Currently, they are the CEO & Co-Founder of Artifact since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the VP, Global Payments at Ripple from May 2022 to October 2022. From 2020 to 2022, they served as the VP, Product Management at Activision Blizzard. Before that, they were the Co-Founder & CEO of Kalhatti, a blockchain-based decentralized wealth management solution, from August 2017 to December 2019. Earlier, from 2015 to 2017, they worked as the VP Data Products at FreeWheel. From 2012 to 2015, they served as the Group Product Manager, Data-Driven Experiences at Intuit. Prior to that, they were a Senior Product Manager at Intuit from 2010 to 2012. Sony also has experience working as a Venture Consultant for self-employed clients from 2007 to 2010. In 2008, they co-founded kiranaMitr. Furthermore, Sony worked as a Summer Associate at Amadeus Capital Partners Ltd. in 2006 and as a Product Consultant at Visage Mobile from 2004 to 2005.

Sony Joseph began their education at M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science & Engineering from 1992 to 1996. Following this, they attended London Business School, completing an MBA from 2005 to 2007. In 2010 to 2011, Joseph obtained a Graduate Certificate in Data Mining and Applications from Stanford University. Sony further enhanced their knowledge by attending Blockchain University in 2014, where they specialized in Bitcoin, Blockchain, & DApps. Lastly, in 2016, they completed a program titled "Behind & Beyond Big Data" from Worldview Stanford1.
