David Young

David Young is an experienced embedded systems architect currently employed by goTenna, where responsibilities include designing routing and packet processing for new MANET products and leading technical design for goTenna Pro features. With a lengthy tenure at The NetBSD Foundation, David has contributed to improving networking capabilities within the NetBSD operating system and has taken on key leadership roles, including reestablishing the NetBSD trademark as president. Previous positions include software engineer at The HDF Group, research scientist at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, embedded systems lead at Runtime Verification, and principal at Trestle Technology Consulting, among others. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Cornell University.
