Chief Scientist at goTenna

Ram Ramanathan is the current Chief Scientist at goTenna. Ram was previously an Associate Editor-in-Chief at IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing from January 2011 to December 2013. Prior to that, they were a Principal Scientist at Raytheon BBN Technologies from January 2005 to July 2017, where they led projects on analytical performance modeling of miitary MANETs, disruption tolerant networking, sync-less TDMA MACs and the MAC group for DARPA Wireless Network after Next (WNaN). Ram was also a Division Scientist at BBN Technologies from January 2000 to December 2004 and a Scientist, Senior Scientist at BBN Technologies from January 1993 to December 1999. Before that, they were a Software Engineer at Alcatel Rovsing from January 1985 to December 1987.

Ram Ramanathan has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Delaware and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
