Gabor Protar

Gabor Protar is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at GoTo since October 2018, Gabor leads a scrum team focused on firmwide Commerce products, including payment gateway systems. Prior to this, Gabor held the position of Vice President at Morgan Stanley from June 2013 to October 2018, where responsibilities included overseeing programs trading for Europe and the USA. Gabor's career began in 2005, with roles as a Developer at mPay and Audi Hungaria Kft, before progressing to a Software Architect at GfK and Team Lead at Morgan Stanley, where innovative trading platforms were developed. Gabor holds a BSc in Software Engineering from Széchényi István Egyetem, completed in 2006.
