Jesse Booth

Jesse Booth has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Jesse is currently working at GoTo as the Senior Director of Security Operations, a role they started in December 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Security Operations at GoTo from February 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining GoTo, Jesse worked at Tucson Electric Power for 7 years. Jesse held various roles during their time there, including Supervisor of Enterprise Cyber Security Operations from October 2018 to January 2021, Supervisor of Enterprise Cyber Security Engineering from October 2017 to September 2018, IT Security Engineer from October 2016 to October 2017, and Senior IT Security Analyst from July 2014 to October 2017.

Jesse also has experience working at Thunderhead.com as a SaaS Security Engineer and Compliance Analyst from July 2013 to June 2014.

Prior to their time at Thunderhead.com, they worked at Tucson Electric Power as an IT Security Analyst from October 2008 to June 2013. Jesse also worked as a Help Desk technician from June 2006 to October 2008.

Jesse's early career involved working at AOL as a Customer System Support representative in 2005 and at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont as a Desktop Support technician from June 2003 to December 2005.

Jesse Booth has a solid education history. In 2001, they obtained a Diploma from BFUHS. Jesse then went on to attend Vermont Technical College from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Technology Management. In 2011, Jesse pursued higher education and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Phoenix. Later, in 2012, they attended the SANS GWAPT Course Phx 2012, specializing in Web Application Penetration Testing. Continuing their education, Jesse enrolled at the SANS Technology Institute in 2017 for Virtualization and Software-defined Security. Additionally, they have obtained multiple certifications, including CISSP, GWAPT, GSEC, and multiple GIAC certifications. Most recently, in 2019, they completed the GIAC Defensible Security Architecture (GDSA) certification.
