Ruth Frank

Vice President, User Experience at GoTo

Ruth Frank has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting as a PHD researcher at NASA Langley Research Center in 1989, they then became the Director of the Human Performance Lab at AT&T from 1991 to 1995. Ruth then joined Delta Air Lines as a Manager of User Interface Design Solutions, where they led a team in modernizing and simplifying internal applications as well as introducing and implementing passenger self-check-in systems. In 2000, they became the Manager of User Experience at NCR, overseeing new product development and professional services engagements. From 2005 to 2018, they worked at Pitney Bowes, initially as a Manager and later as the Vice President of Client & User Experience. During their time there, they spearheaded the implementation and expansion of client-focused design thinking practices and successfully delivered a unified experience and brand. Finally, Ruth Frank is currently working at BBB Serving Connecticut as a Member of the Executive Board of Directors, and they will be joining GoTo as their Vice President of User Experience in October 2023.

Ruth Frank earned a B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Tech in 1986. Ruth then pursued a Ph.D. in Industrial Psychology (Human Factors) from Old Dominion University, completing it in 1991. In 2022, Ruth Frank obtained an Executive Certification in Leading with Data and Analytics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
