Aran Hamilton has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries and roles. Aran is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Vantage since 2013. Vantage is a software solution that helps retailers launch or expand retail media networks. Aran has successfully transformed how leading retailers and brands connect with customers through this platform. Additionally, Aran has served as the Co-Chair of IdentityNORTH, Canada's Premier Identity Conference, since 2012. Aran believes that digital identification and authentication are crucial for Canada's digital economy.
Aran has also worked as a Mentor at The Founder Institute since 2014, where they support and guides aspiring entrepreneurs. Prior to this, they served as the Founding President of the Digital ID and Authentication Council of Canada (DIACC) from 2011 to 2014. Their focus was on accelerating the establishment of trustworthy digital ID solutions to benefit Canadian governments, businesses, non-profits, and citizens.
In 2010, Aran was a Special Advisor for Mobile and Innovative Payments Systems at the Canadian Federal Task Force for the Payments System Review. During this time, they assessed and reported on mobile payment experiences worldwide to plan a revolutionary mobile payments ecosystem in Canada.
Earlier in their career, Aran held key positions at EnStream LP / Zoompass, Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association (CWTA), VERISIGN, Digital Cement, Inc., and MIST Inc. These roles ranged from VP of Strategy, Partnerships, and Marketing to Vice President of Product Development. At VERISIGN, Aran played a significant role in developing Canada's early mobile commerce ecosystem and negotiating contracts with wireless carriers and media companies.
Throughout their career, Aran has focused on building strong relationships with customers, driving revenue growth, and shaping industry landscapes through their strategic planning and marketing expertise.
Aran Hamilton holds a diverse education history. In 1997, they pursued an MBA degree at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, completing their studies in 1999. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1993, Aran attended the University of King's College, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Simultaneously, they also attended Dalhousie University from 1989 to 1993, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Science. Additionally, in November 2021, Aran obtained a Professional Development Certification from IdentityNORTH after participating in their 2021 Fall Symposium.
