Gough Hotels is a long established and well-respected hospitality group that owns three special landmark properties in Suffolk. The Gough family celebrated 50 years of running the company in 2015, marking half a century dedicated to serving great food and wines, and providing some of the best bedrooms in the country.

Each property was chosen for its own unique character and location. The Georgian ivy clad 4-star Angel Hotel is a masterpiece of historic charm with a twist of urban chic, commanding the Bury St Edmunds town centre. The urban contemporary 4-star Salthouse Harbour Hotel is set on the waters edge of Ipswich’s rejuvenated and increasingly popular marina. 

Our unique hotels welcomes guests to experience luxury at its finest. Each hotel reflects its own style of eclectic and cosmopolitan chic. Our restaurants embrace our Suffolk surroundings to produce inspirational dishes that encompass seasonality & supports independent Suffolk producers to offer a sensational culinary experience. We and proud to select outstanding wines, design and serve creative cocktails alongside a range of local draught beer's. 

The latest addition to the group is Southwold Pier, combining lots of entertaining features that remain popular all year round including a collection of arcades, shops & restaurants.
