Frank Deasy

Senior Engineer

Frank Deasy has worked in the engineering and project management fields for over 40 years. Frank began their career in 1980 as a Traffic Systems Engineer at Arlington County, where they managed a wide variety of projects and a $3 million capital improvement program and a $1.5 million operating budget. In 1993, they moved to PB Farradyne (Subsidiary of Parsons Brinckerhoff) as a Senior Project Manager and Project Manager. In 2006, they joined Telvent USA Inc. as a Senior Project Manager, managing a staff of 7 engineers and specialists, and 5 sub consultant firms providing program management services for projects worth $5 million annually. In 2012, they moved to Schneider Electric as a Senior Project Manager, managing a staff of 9 engineers and specialists, and 7 sub consultant firms providing program management services for projects worth $6 million annually. In 2016, they joined Kapsch TrafficCom North America as a Senior Project Manager, managing a staff of 9 engineers and specialists, and 7 sub consultant firms providing program management services for projects worth $6 million annually. In 2018, they joined HNTB as a Sr. Project Engineer, supporting FDOT in their mission to ensure a safe, uniform and efficient highway system in Florida. Currently, they are a Senior Engineer at GovComm, Inc.

Frank Deasy obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Northeastern University between 1970 and 1975. Frank also earned three professional certifications from the States of Florida, Georgia, and Minnesota in 1994, 1994, and 1980, respectively.
