Russ Read

Russ Read is a national security communicator with extensive experience in government relations and national security policy. Currently serving as the Director of Government Relations for Advocacy at Govini, Russ is responsible for enhancing government messaging and expanding support across various constituencies. Previously, they held significant roles such as Legislative Affairs Manager for Air Programs at the National Guard Association of the United States and Director of Communications for a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. Russ has also demonstrated their writing prowess by publishing numerous articles on national security topics and has degrees from Boston University and High Point University. They reside in Alexandria, Virginia.
