Sam Burton

Sam Burton has a diverse range of work experience. In 2011, they started as a Pharmacy Assistant at ABBEY PHARMACY (SHERBORNE) LIMITED and worked there until 2012. From 2013 to 2013, Sam worked at Paydens Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Assistant, where they helped establish a new pharmacy in London. Sam then moved on to Newland Medical Practice in 2014 as an Administration Assistant. Sam worked as a Laboratory Demonstrator at the University of Reading from 2015 to 2016, where they conducted demonstrations and talks for prospective undergraduates. In 2016, Sam joined Syngenta as an Experimental Scientist, specializing in herbicide design. During their time at Syngenta, their roles included carrying out herbicide spray applications and maintaining plants under glasshouse conditions. From 2019 to 2020, Sam worked as a Junior Data Analyst at Sedulo, gaining experience in data analysis. Currently, they are employed as a Data Executive at GovNet, beginning in 2021.

Sam Burton completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Reading from 2015 to 2018. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry at the same institution from 2018 to 2019.
