Fernando Sicbaldi

Fernando Sicbaldi is an experienced professional in the field of agrochemical research and residue analysis, currently serving as the Global Residue Manager & MRL Scientist at Gowan Company since May 2021, and previously as the Residue Analysis Manager. From January 2004, Fernando has been the Head of the Testing Facility for Field Trials and the Head of the Residue Analysis Department at Isagro S.p.A., overseeing a team focused on the efficacy and performance evaluation of agrochemicals, including fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, biopesticides, and bio-stimulants. Additionally, Fernando has been an External Expert for the European Commission since October 2004, and prior roles include Head of the Residue Analysis Unit at Caffaro Industrie Spa and a postdoctoral researcher at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Fernando holds a PhD in Pesticide Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Ecology from Università degli Studi di Milano and degrees in Agricultural Sciences from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Certifications in advanced English from Cambridge Assessment English highlight strong communication skills.
