Ray Layton

Ray Layton is a Global Ecotoxicologist at Gowan Company with over 30 years of experience in conducting ecological and human health risk assessments for agricultural products. Prior to this role, Ray held positions such as Research Fellow and Product Safety Leader at Pioneer Hi-Bred International, where a team was led to assess the risks of genetically modified crops. Ray has also worked with Arysta LifeScience and DuPont Crop Protection, focusing on the environmental safety of agricultural chemicals and conducting extensive risk assessments. Ray earned a PhD and MS in Entomology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a BS in Zoology from Brigham Young University.
