Dan Lee

Dan Lee has been in the engineering services industry since 2000. Dan started their career at Global Process Automation (GPA) as a Controls Engineer in 2000, where they programmed DCS and PLCs, along with SCADA and HMI; Intellution. Dan also wrote and implemented environmental reports using OSI PI Historian and associated API and SDK, and automated sootblower, recovery boiler controls, motor controls, and pulp mill loop controls. In 2004, Dan moved to Total Systems Design, Inc. as a Process Controls Engineer, where they implemented various PLC and HMI projects in the pharmaceutical industry and was the lead engineer in a prototype machine dosing system using real time PAT technology and vision systems. Dan also programmed Intellution iFIX HMI. In 2005, Dan returned to GPA as President/CEO and Vice President of Operations. As Vice President of Operations, they offered a full range of engineering services related to automation, data acquisition, visualization, process automation and ICS security. Dan also provided a complete project management process, including configuration, installation, and commissioning. Projects included complete system checkouts, control system testing, and process optimization.

Dan Lee attended North Carolina State University from 1997 to 1999, studying Computer Engineering. Dan then transferred to the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 2001.
