Mike Sandera has been in the engineering field since 1984, beginning their career at ABB as a Principal Consulting Engineer. Theirprimary responsibilities included creating functional write-ups, control logic drawings, building module configurations, and testing, verifying, and transmitting module configurations. Mike also provided internal and customer support for complex applications questions, and developed and implemented measures to improve operations and customer satisfaction. In 2009, Mike moved to Global Process Automation, where they worked as a Process Controls Engineer. Theirrole included site DCS engineer/Project manager for maintenance and capital projects, as well as upgrading existing MOD300 logic to 800xA for Corning in the Pollution Abatement area. Mike also reviewed existing designs, created functional specifications, vendor specifications, IO lists, wiring lists, and sequential logic designs. In 2017, Mike began working at Corning as a Facilities Maintenance Engineer.
Mike Sandera obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology from the University of Houston.
