James O'Connor

James (Jim) O'Connor, P.E. has over 32 years of experience in the electrical utility industry, currently serving as Senior Director and Power Group Practice Leader at GPD Group since September 2002. In this role, James oversees project managers and engineers to ensure projects are delivered on time and under budget. Previously, James was the Owner/President of MOD Contractors, Inc. from June 1999 to July 2002 and served as Project & Marketing Manager at Independent Testing and Maintenance, Inc. from January 1989 to June 1999. James holds an engineering degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Akron, obtained between 1999 and 2004.
