Athanasios Tzortzinis is the Group Head of ESG at Sarantis Group, bringing over 15 years of experience as a results-driven Chemical and Mechanical Engineer in heavy industry and FMCG sectors. They specialize in ESG strategy development, risk assessments, and sustainability compliance, demonstrating expertise in corporate sustainability initiatives aligned with EU regulations and leading frameworks. Previously, Athanasios held various roles at Titan Cement Company SA and Metlen Energy & Metals, where they contributed to significant advancements in environmental compliance and sustainability reporting. Athanasios holds a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of Peloponnese, along with diplomas in Chemical and Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
