Gary Evans has worked in the tech industry since 2010. In 2010, they completed a summer internship at Lloyds TSB, working in the key markets team at Guildford Commercial Centre. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at Nomura as a Fixed Income Research IT Analyst and Developer. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at Yoyo Wallet as a Senior Software Engineer, Engineering Lead, and is currently working at Gr4vy, Inc. as a Software Engineer. During their time at Yoyo Wallet, they took ownership of the loyalty & on-boarding team to deliver a credit card based loyalty solution for small medium businesses, as well as developing merchant facing self-serve and reporting tools using ReactJS & Django hosted on AWS. At Nomura, they were responsible for creating rapid prototypes and supporting applications specific to the desk, as well as taking ownership of a back testing application used globally by research analysts, trading and sales.
Gary Evans attended the University of Bath from 2009 to 2013 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems.
