Stephen E. Dehekker

Stephen E. DeHekker, AIA, serves as an Associate Principal and Senior Project Manager at Grace Design Studios since May 2025, overseeing a diverse array of national and international projects in master planning, design, and production, particularly focusing on K-12 and higher education facilities as well as civic buildings. Prior to this role, Stephen E. DeHekker was Senior Vice President at Hastings + Chivetta Architects from March 1989 to May 2025, managing similar project types within the realm of public and private educational facilities. Earlier experience includes working as a Project Architect at Peters Koblenz & Kreishman and as an Architectural Intern at John Lark & Associates. Stephen E. DeHekker holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering and a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture from The University of Kansas, where studies were completed from 1978 to 1983.
