Grace Helping Hands is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing hygiene kits to women and children experiencing homelessness, restoring dignity through access to essential personal care items. In 2025, the organization made and distributed 10,000 thoughtfully assembled hygiene kits to those in need across the DC–Maryland region. Founded by longtime volunteer Manuella King, Grace Helping Hands grew from years of seeing a quiet but urgent need for feminine hygiene and basic toiletries go unmet in shelters and outreach settings, evolving from a grassroots effort around a kitchen table into a growing movement of compassion and community.
