Brian Salmanowitz

Brian Salmanowitz has a diverse work experience in the software development industry. Brian is currently working as the Senior Director of Software Development at Grace Hill since 2022. Prior to that, they were a Partner at Merchant Minds Software, where they developed and launched CoMerchant, an eCommerce integration system. Brian also established an Amazon Seller Account Management practice.

Before that, Brian worked at ProQuest as the Director of Software Development from 2011 to 2015. In this role, they managed the Bowker Product development team and defined product development priorities. Brian led a team of 35 full-time team members and facilitated collaboration between local and offshore team members.

Brian also held positions at LexisNexis, where they worked as the Senior Director of Global Product Development. Brian led the product development team for LexisNexis Web-based Marketing Solutions, including flagship websites lawyers.com and martindale.com. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Global Product Development and led the flagship product team through a period of high investment and growth expectations.

Earlier in their career, Brian worked at LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell as the Director of Information Systems and Manager of CRM Systems. Brian also worked as a Solutions Specialist at A.M. Best Company, where they led the design and conversion of CD software products and implemented e-Commerce web applications. Brian began their career as a Product Architect at Brickhouse Data Systems.

Brian Salmanowitz completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Brian then pursued further education at the same university and obtained an MBA with a specialization in Electronic Commerce from 1996 to 2000.
