Jay Thompson

Jay Thompson currently works at Grace Hill as a Multifamily Senior Sales Engineer since November 2022. Prior to this, they were the Manager of Solutions Architect from January 2021 to November 2022 and an Account Manager from February 2019 to January 2021. Before joining Grace Hill, Jay worked at B&M Management as a District Director from April 2017 to February 2019 and as a Community Director from September 2015 to February 2019. Jay also has experience at Greystar as a Community Manager from May 2013 to September 2015 and as an Assistant Community Manager from December 2012 to May 2013. Jay worked as a Marketing Director at Skyline Fifth from February 2012 to May 2013. Before transitioning to the real estate industry, they were a Middle School Science Teacher at Pinellas County Schools from August 2010 to February 2012 and at Lake County Schools from August 2008 to July 2010. Jay also has experience as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Lake County School Board from August 2004 to July 2008 and as the Director of Sports Medicine/Adjunct Professor at North Greenville University from June 2002 to July 2004.

Jay Thompson earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Sports Medicine from Valdosta State University, completing the program between 1996 and 2000. Afterward, Jay pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in College Student Counseling and Personnel Services at Clemson University from 2000 to 2002. Additionally, Jay obtained several certifications, including Google Universal Analytics Essential Training, Marketing Tools: SEO, SEO: Keyword Strategy, and a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate. The certificates were obtained from various institutions such as LinkedIn and USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, with the most recent certification achieved in March 2022.
