John Armstrong

John Armstrong has a diverse work experience. In 2019, they worked at Clemson University as a Research Assistant and also served as a Programming Bootcamp Lead Instructor. In 2020, they freelanced as a Web Designer and Developer while also working as a UI Designer and Frontend Developer at Monster Labz. John also worked as a Design Consultant at Eric Miller Design during this time. Currently, John is employed at Grace Hill as a Frontend Engineer, where they specialize in React to develop user interfaces for the Admin Console web app. John collaborates with their team to add new features, fix bugs, and implement best practices.

John Armstrong completed their high school education at St. Joseph's Catholic School (SJCS) from 2012 to 2015, earning a High School Diploma. John then attended Clemson University from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication. Currently, they are pursuing a PhD in Human-Centered Computing at Clemson University, starting in 2019 and expected to finish by 2020. John'sfield of study for their PhD is Computer Science.
