Michael Dreiss

Michael Dreiss has a varied work experience, starting with their roles at Graco. Michael first worked as a Big Data Analytics Intern from May 2019 to January 2020. Then, they served as a Senior Data Scientist from January 2020 to November 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Business Intelligence Team Lead at Graco, starting in November 2021.

Before joining Graco, Michael worked as a Student Consultant at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management from September 2017 to December 2019. Michael also served as an NROTC Instructor at NROTC University of Minnesota from January 2017 to April 2019.

Michael's early career was in the US Navy. Michael joined as an Officer in December 2011 and served until April 2019. During this time, they were a Division Officer on the USS Greeneville from December 2013 to December 2016.

Michael Dreiss has a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics from The Ohio State University, which they obtained between 2007 and 2011. Michael also pursued further education at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree between 2017 and 2019. Additionally, Dreiss obtained a Master of Science in Business Analytics degree from the same institution in 2019. Michael has also completed a certification in Learning R from Lynda.com in 2018. Dreiss has attended specialized training programs in nuclear power at Naval Nuclear Power Training Command and Naval Nuclear Power Training Unit.
