Aaron Tarbell has extensive work experience in the educational sector. Aaron began their career in 2011 as a Substitute Teacher and Water Polo Coach at La Habra High School. In 2012, they moved to Lowell Joint School District as a Substitute Teacher. In 2013, they were hired as a Humanities Teacher at the New Los Angeles Charter School, where they designed and facilitated blended-learning opportunities for students. In 2019, they began working as a Freelance Content Contributor for Newsela, curating content and developing unit guides and instructions. In 2020, they joined Formative (goformative.com) as a Senior Client Success Manager and Success Manager, where they developed and maintained relationships with strategic and mid-market accounts in the western United States and designed virtual learning and development opportunities for external stakeholders. Aaron Tarbell has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from UC Santa Barbara, obtained in 2008. Aaron then pursued a Single Subject Teaching Credential in History and English from California State University, Fullerton in 2010. In 2017, they obtained a Master of Science in Educational/Instructional Technology from the same university. In 2019, they obtained a Google Certified Educator - Level 2 certification from Google. In 2022, they obtained a Leading Yourself certification from LinkedIn.
