Mark Huang

Mark Huang has a diverse work experience in the field of AI and machine learning. Mark is currently a Co-Founder and Head of AI at Preemo, Inc. In 2021, they co-founded a stealth startup. Prior to these ventures, Mark worked at Splunk as a Staff ML Scientist, where they led a team focused on machine learning engineering R&D and developed production-level streaming algorithms. Mark also served as a Lead Data Scientist at Box, where they led a team and built a machine learning prediction service for improving sales pipeline efficiency. Mark has also worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Stevens Capital Management LP, where they developed machine learning systems for trading signals. Mark was the Founder and Head of Quantitative Research at FDT Capital LTD, one of the first systematic trading firms in mainland China A-Shares. Additionally, Mark has experience as a Senior Quantitative Researcher at Paloma Partners Management Company and as a Quantitative Developer at TD Securities LLC. Mark'sroles in these positions involved developing trading strategies, risk management, and building trading systems.

Mark Huang attended Cypress Bay High School. After graduating from high school, they went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematics. Additionally, they also attended The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance and Statistics.
