Steven Chappell

Steven Chappell has held a number of executive-level roles in the technology industry, beginning in 1997 with their position as Vice President of World Wide Sales at Picazo Communications. In 2000, they moved to Intel Corporation, where they served as Vice President of Business Development. From 2002 to 2005, Chappell held the role of Vice President of World Wide Sales at Strix Systems, followed by Vice President of World Wide Sales at TippingPoint from 2005 to 2009. In 2009, Chappell joined Riverbed Technology as Vice President of World Wide Channels, and then moved to Critical Watch in 2011, where they served as President and Chief Operations Officer. From 2013 to 2019, Chappell was Vice President of Sales and Channels at Wedge Networks Inc. Steven currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Gradient Cyber (formerly atRISK Technology), a cybersecurity products and services company. In this role, Chappell is responsible for applying national security frameworks and compliance measurements to a score that baselines an organization’s cybersecurity risks, reducing logs and alert noise to actionable insights and establishing a cyber health roadmap for immediate value and long-term improvement to its security posture.

Steven Chappell obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Utah Valley University.
