Jack Webster, PhD, has a background in engineering and naval architecture. Jack has experience working as a CTO at Gradient Marine, providing leadership in engineering and technology development. Prior to this role, Jack worked as a Naval Architect at Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division, focusing on marine propulsor hydrodynamics analysis and design. Additionally, Jack served as a Mechanical and Hydrodynamics Team Lead at Virginia DEEP-X, where Jack led the development of the Javelin AUV for the Shell Ocean Discovery X-Prize. Jack's academic background includes a PhD in Aerospace and Ocean Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University.
