Taylor Wilson has work experience spanning a variety of engineering and technical roles in the maritime and defense industries. In 2015, they worked as an Analyst at Metron Inc., where they participated in the analysis, design, and simulation of operating DoD systems. Taylor then worked as an Ocean Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton in 2016, providing expertise in ocean engineering and supporting mission planning for clandestine ocean operations. In 2017, they became a Senior System Engineer at SAIC, where they supported the concept of operations development, prototype design and build, subsystem integration, and system testing of advanced ocean surveillance technology. In 2019, they worked as a Technical Advisor at the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific, providing support for maritime domain awareness and anti-submarine warfare. Currently, since 2018, Taylor serves as President & CEO of Gradient Marine, where they lead overall company operations and provides subject matter expertise to government and industry clients in maritime surveillance, undersea warfare, and security cooperation.
Taylor Wilson received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University in 2012. Later, they pursued education in Ocean Engineering and obtained a Master of Science from Virginia Tech in 2015. Additionally, they obtained a Professional Engineer certification from the California Department of Consumer Affairs in 2018.
