John C. is an experienced environmental engineer currently working as an Associate Environmental Engineer at Gradient since September 2019, specializing in multi-disciplinary projects that involve fate and transport modeling, human health risk assessment, and climate studies. Prior to this role, John served as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, focusing on ice dynamics and melt water injection impacts, and held positions at ICF International as an Environmental Research Analyst, where modeling of contaminant fate and transport was conducted, as well as internships at NASA Langley Research Center, contributing to various environmental research projects. John holds a PhD and an MS in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from the University of Maryland, as well as a BS in Geophysics from Virginia Tech.
