Robert Ethier

Robert Ethier is a co-founder and managing partner at Impact Science Ventures, where the focus is on investing in scientific breakthroughs that offer significant returns and address major global challenges. Ethier serves on the Activate Leadership Council, collaborating with leaders from various sectors to support the initiatives of Activate and its fellows. As an investor, Ethier has contributed to several innovative companies, including Fervo Energy, which advances geothermal energy technology, Antora Energy, developers of low-cost thermal batteries, and Concerto Biosciences, which specializes in microbial innovations. Other ventures include Brimstone, focused on carbon-neutral cement production, and Qunnect, which is building scalable quantum communication networks. Ethier holds an Executive MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Financial Markets and Accounting from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
