Etienne Studer

Etienne Studer is the SVP of Engineering for Gradle Enterprise. Etienne has over 15 years of experience in the software industry, with a focus on Java-based applications. Etienne began their career as a Senior Java Software Architect for Navis LLC, where they were responsible for the architecture, design, and implementation of a next-generation application for automated and manned equipment control of container terminals. Etienne then went on to become the CTO of edorasware ag, where they were responsible for making the start-up product company grow technically, commercially, and employee-wise.

Etienne is a strong advocate of Test-Driven Development, Build Automation, and Continuous Integration. Etienne has successfully placed products at several major Swiss companies from the government sector and the financial sector. Etienne has represented their companies at numerous go-live events, pre-sales activities, client meetings, and conferences.
