Rolf Dockter is the Chief Financial Officer at Gradle. Rolf has over fifteen years of experience in the software industry, and has held senior positions at some of the world's largest companies.

Rolf began their career as a software developer at Volkswagen, where they worked on developing new software for the company's vehicles. Rolf then moved to Gradle Open Source Project, where they worked on developing open source software for the company. In 2006, Rolf joined Krugle, where they worked on developing software for the search engine. Rolf then moved to JBoss in early 2007, where they became the creator of JBoss-IDE. Rolf led the project until it was acquired by Red Hat in December of that year.

In their current role at Gradle, Rolf is responsible for the company's financial planning and strategy. Rolf is also a member of the board of directors.

Rolf Dockter has a Diplom in Physics from The University of Göttingen, and they were a guest student in physics at the University of Otago.
