Alven Yen

Alven Yen has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Alven currently holds the position of Principal Product Manager at Graid Technology Inc., starting in April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Manager at the same company from May 2020 to April 2022.

Before joining Graid Technology Inc., Alven was employed at Silicon Motion Technology Corp., where they served as a Project Manager from November 2018 to May 2020. Alven also held the position of Supervisor Engineer from July 2017 to November 2018.

In 2014, Alven worked at Bigtera as a Senior Software Engineer. Alven'sresponsibilities included software development, such as integrating a storage cluster with VMWare vSphere, implementing virtual gateway deployment features, central logging modules, and statistics modules for a storage cluster system.

Alven's earliest work experience dates back to 2010 when they joined Trend Micro. During their time there, they held the role of Senior Engineer from January 2012 to May 2014, specializing in software development for the Securecloud team. Alven worked on various projects, including integrating a disk encryption agent with Cloudstack, maintaining data disk encryption features, and implementing boot volume encryption features in Linux. Before their senior engineer role, Alven worked as an Engineer from September 2010 to December 2011, where they primarily focused on implementing report generating modules and disk encryption agent features.

Alven Yen completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Tamkang University from 2004 to 2008. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) in the same field at the same university from 2008 to 2010.
