Joseph Marcus

Joseph Marcus is a Staff Machine Learning Scientist at GRAIL, where Joseph is focused on developing machine learning methods to enhance early cancer detection. Prior to their current role, Joseph served as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist and Data Scientist at the University of Chicago, conducting research in statistical and computational genomics as a Graduate Student Researcher. Additionally, Joseph gained experience as a Computational Biology Intern at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp., where Joseph worked on statistical modeling for T-cell receptor immunosequencing data. Joseph received their PhD in Human Genetics from the University of Chicago and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Washington.
