Laura King is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of cancer research and genomic medicine. Currently serving as the Director of UK External Affairs at GRAIL since April 2021, Laura has also held roles such as Associate Director for Cancer Engagement & Communications and Senior Research Liaison Manager. Prior experience includes working as a Clinical Scientist at The Institute of Cancer Research, where Laura managed the Cancer Variant Interpretation Group-UK and contributed to pivotal projects within the 100,000 Genomes Project at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust and NHS England. A PhD graduate in Molecular Oncology from Queen Mary University of London, Laura's academic foundation is further supported by a Master's degree in Oncology and a Bachelor's degree in Medical Genetics.
