Nathan Hoverter currently serves as a Staff Scientist at GRAIL since December 2021, having previously held the position of Senior Scientist. Nathan's extensive experience includes a tenure at Purigen Biosystems from June 2014 to November 2021, where roles encompassed Senior Technical Lead, Senior Scientist, and Scientist, focusing on technical development, chemistry integration, and next-generation sequencing experimental design. Prior to this, Nathan contributed as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Irvine from 2007 to June 2014, engaging in research on human embryonic stem cells and colon cancer mechanisms. Nathan earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Sciences from UC Irvine and completed an undergraduate degree at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
