Grand Bedding, formerly known as Capital Bedding, is a fourth-generation, family-owned mattress manufacturer based in Louisiana. Established in 1920, we are proud to be the only full-line mattress factory in the state, producing both standard and custom-size mattresses and box springs. Over the past century, we have grown into a trusted partner across multiple industries, with deep expertise in marine and industrial, hospitality, healthcare, dormitory, trucking, and retail markets.

In the marine and industrial sector, Grand Bedding is recognized as a go-to manufacturer for high-quality, code-compliant bedding built to perform in the most challenging environments, from boats to offshore vessels and oil rigs. In hospitality, we partner with boutique hotels and properties across the country, offering durable, comfortable mattresses with the flexibility and service that smaller manufacturers can provide. For healthcare and dormitory clients, we supply practical, easy-to-maintain mattresses built for longevity and compliance, supporting hospitals, student housing, and camps.

At the same time, Grand Bedding continues to expand in the residential retail market, helping independent retailers across the U.S. offer high-quality, American-made mattresses at prices their customers can afford. Whether serving an individual consumer or a large-scale client, our specialty is customization — designing and manufacturing mattresses in unique shapes, sizes, and configurations to meet the specific needs of every market we serve.

Every Grand Bedding mattress is hand-built by our Baton Rouge employees using high-quality materials, carrying forward the Grand family legacy of American-made craftsmanship, reliability, and innovation.

While our new website, grandbedding.com, highlights retail offerings, we continue to maintain capital-bedding.com for our marine, hospitality, healthcare, and institutional customers.
