John Garvey

John Garvey has a long and varied work experience. John began their career in 2010 as a Private Equity Accounting & Reporting Specialist at BNY Mellon. In 2012, they took on the role of ESL Teacher at Promise Christian International School. In 2014, they were a Senior Financial Accounting and Reporting Specialist at BNY Mellon, as well as a Senior Investment Operations Specialist at Eaton Vance. In 2018, they became an Alternative Credit Operations Associate at Benefit Street Partners, where they were responsible for the day-to-day life cycle of a trade monitoring for fund families with an AUM of 23bn. In 2019, they were a Data Analyst Hedge Fund Onboarding at Putnam Investments. In 2020, they became an Investment Associate at American Family Insurance. Most recently, in 2021, they were a Vice President and Senior Business Analyst at Grandview Analytics.

John Garvey obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics and Business Management from Keene State College between 2006 and 2010. In 2007, they also attended York St. John University to study International Economics. John also holds a TEFL certification.
