Devona Yawson

Devona Yawson is an experienced digital strategist currently serving as an Associate Digital Strategist at Granicus since March 2020. Prior to this role, Devona worked as a Virtual Administrator from February 2019 to March 2020. Devona's background in journalism includes positions as a News Producer at KSHB / KMCI / The EW Scripps Company from February 2015 to January 2019 and at KAKE-TV from April 2010 to February 2015. Earlier, Devona was a Reporter/Producer at KOMU 8 & Mid-Missouri CW between August 2008 and December 2009. Devona also has a strong foundation in career development and supervision, having served as a Supervisor/Career Specialist at the University of Missouri, where Devona was also Co-Chair of the United Ambassadors Minority Recruitment Team. Devona holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree in Radio and Television from the University of Missouri-Columbia, obtained in 2009, and completed general studies at Northeast High School in 2005.
