Sheldon Rampton is an experienced Site Reliability Engineer at Granicus, having joined the company in December 2014 following the acquisition of NuCivic Inc., where Rampton served as Chief Technology Officer. With a strong background in web development and technology consulting, Rampton has also worked as a Senior Web Developer for the New York State Senate and as a Freelance IT Consultant. Rampton's prior roles include serving as Research Director at the Center for Media and Democracy, where notable writing achievements included a New York Times bestselling book. In addition to extensive experience in technology and public service, Rampton has been a member of the Board of Directors for Working Capital for Community Needs, contributing to economic development financing projects in Latin America. Rampton holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Princeton University.
