Sofia Ribeiro Forte

Sofia Ribeiro Forte is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in clinical trials management, currently serving as the Head of Clinical Operations at Granite Bio since April 2023. With a PhD in Biotechnology and a post-graduation in Clinical Trials, Sofia has over six years of dedicated involvement in managing global clinical trials from investigator-initiated studies to Phase I through III trials in diverse settings. Previous roles include Manager of Strategy & Operations and Expert Global Trial Manager at Novartis, and Senior Global Trial Manager at University Hospital of Basel. Additionally, Sofia has held positions as a clinical research scientist, post-doctoral researcher, and laboratory responsible, along with serving as a professor and teaching assistant in biotechnology and molecular biology.
