Doug Block

Doug Block has over 18 years of experience in internal audit roles. Doug is currently the Vice President of Internal Audit at Granite Construction since June 2018. Prior to this, they served as the Director and Chief Audit Executive at Layne Christensen from September 2015. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all internal audit activities, including operational, financial, and IT audits. Before joining Layne Christensen, Doug worked as the Senior Manager - Americas Region, Internal Audit at Dover Corporation from May 2013 to September 2015. Doug also served as the Internal Audit Manager at GenOn Energy, Inc from March 2011 to February 2013 and at CB&I (Chicago Bridge & Iron Company N.V.) from September 2007 to March 2011. Doug started their career as an Internal Auditor at Halliburton in 2001. Doug also has experience as an Audit Supervisor and IT Auditor at CB&I from 2003 to 2007.

Doug Block earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems and Decision Sciences (ISDS) from Louisiana State University. Doug attended the university from 1997 to 2001.
