Eric Wells

Eric Wells is an Area Manager at Granite Construction, where they have led efforts for 35 years in the Heavy/Highway and Civil Construction industry, focusing on transportation projects utilizing alternative delivery methods. In the Utah Region, Eric is responsible for acquiring new business and ensuring the successful execution of contracts in Structures, Rail, and Alternate Procurement. They have significantly contributed to the development of the CMGC process in collaboration with the Utah Department of Transportation and have represented the contracting community in the FHWA’s Everyday Counts program. Eric's extensive experience encompasses various roles, including lead estimator and project manager on multiple CMGC projects, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and stakeholder involvement. In addition, Eric is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management at Weber State University.
