John Shippy

John Shippy has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting field. John is currently serving as the Director of Accounting at Granite Construction since June 2021. Prior to this, they held various roles at the company including Sr Manager of Consolidations / Technical Accounting and Consolidation/Technical Accounting Manager. John also worked at Exponential as a Sr. Financial Analyst from October 2011 to November 2013. Before that, they were a Senior Associate at PwC from September 2006 to May 2010. John'searliest work experience is as an Instructor/Coordinator at Capitola Junior Guards from June 2002 to August 2006.

John Shippy earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2005. John later pursued an MBA degree in Business at San Jose State University from 2010 to 2011.
