Peter Young

Peter Young is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and IT solutions. Currently serving as IT Director at Granite Construction since 2014, Peter has built and formalized key disciplines in product portfolio management and technology strategy. Prior roles include Principal IT Solutions Architect, where responsibilities encompassed architectural analysis and integration for enterprise applications, and IT Software Solutions Architect at Unify, managing a global IT application consolidation project. Peter’s career began as a Mathematics Teacher, spanning over a decade in educational settings, in addition to various IT roles at Siemens Enterprise Communications, where significant projects in service delivery and application management were executed. Peter holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Ohio Wesleyan University and further educational qualifications from Columbia University and San Jose State University.
