Maila Herva

Maila Herva is an experienced professional in quality and sustainability management, currently serving as the Quality & Sustainability Director at Granlund since September 2016, where responsibilities include maintaining ISO 9001 quality and ISO 14001 environmental management systems and leading productivity strategy projects. Prior roles include Quality and Environmental Manager and Quality Manager, where project management in information system reform and construction quality certification were key focuses. Maila's career includes significant research contributions as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oulu with a focus on performance in the construction industry, as well as research roles at UC Berkeley and the European Investment Bank. With an MSc and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Oulu, Maila also has additional certification in quality management systems.
